At Pickles & Co, we truly value our customers and strive to provide you with the best experience. Since our products are handmade with love and care, we have put in place a simple and fair policy to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

1. 200% Refund Guarantee (For Non-Delivered Orders)

We understand how important it is for your order to reach you safely. That’s why we offer a 100% + 100% refund if your order is not delivered to you, we will refund double the amount you paid.

  • If your order is marked as "Delivered" by the courier, it will not be eligible for a refund. This guarantee applies only in cases of confirmed non-delivery by the courier partner or if the order is returned to us undelivered.
  • In case of any non-delivery, please contact us at picklesandco2024@gmail.com within 7 days of your expected delivery date, and we’ll be happy to assist you. At Pickles & Co, we’ve maintained a 100% successful delivery rate — this guarantee is our way of showing how confident we are in delivering your favourite pickles, safely across India. ❤️

2. No Returns Policy

Since our pickles are perishable and made fresh, we are unable to accept returns once an order has been delivered. We encourage customers to read product descriptions carefully before placing an order.

3. Damaged or Broken Product Claims

While we take great care in packing our products securely, sometimes unforeseen damage can occur during transit. If your order arrives damaged or broken, we’re here to help!

  • Please email us at picklesandco2024@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.
  • To process your claim, kindly share clear photos and videos taken while opening the package along with your order details.
  • Once verified, we will do our best to assist you with a replacement or partial refund, depending on the extent of the damage. Replacement/ Refund will be credited within 7-10 Business Days.

4. Packaging & Leakage Disclaimer

At Pickles & Co., we go the extra mile to ensure your pickles arrive safely. Each product is:

- Packed in airtight, stand-up pouches and Glass Jars.
- Wrapped securely in multiple layers of bubble wrap.
- Placed inside a corrugated box for added protection during shipping.

However, once the package leaves our facility, it is handled by third-party courier partners. Despite our best efforts, minor oil leakage may occur in transit, especially with oil-rich handmade pickles. This is a natural characteristic of the product and is often due to pressure or rough handling during transportation — both of which are unfortunately beyond our control.

Please note:

- Airtight pouches and Glass Jars ensure that the pickle remains safe and fit for consumption, even if some oil leaks outside the pouch.
- Minor oil leakage will not be considered a defect, and we will not be able to offer refunds or replacements for such cases.
- Refunds or replacements will only be applicable in cases where the primary pouch or Glass Jar is torn, ruptured, broken or the product itself is damaged or contaminated.
- To process a valid damage claim, please refer to Point 3.

This policy helps us:

- Maintain transparency about what to expect during shipping.
- Ensure fair treatment for all customers.
- Continue offering fresh, handmade products at honest prices.

⚠️ Important Clarification:

Please note that minor oil leakage does not qualify as a damaged or broken product. Since our pickles contain natural oils, a small amount of leakage may occur due to pressure changes or mishandling by courier partners. This is a common and natural occurrence and does not affect the quality, safety, or hygiene of the product.

- As long as the inner pouch and glass jar is intact and airtight, such leakage does not constitute grounds for refund or replacement.
- Claims based solely on oil leakage will not be eligible under our damage policy.

5. Free Ceramic Pickle Jar Policy

We love adding a special touch to your order! If your purchase qualifies, we provide one FREE Ceramic Pickle Jar per order as a complimentary gift. Only ONE Free Ceramic Pickle Jar is provided per customer, even if multiple qualifying orders are placed at the same address. Thank you for understanding and supporting small businesses 💛

This helps us:

✨ Continue offering thoughtful gifts without increasing product prices

However, in case the Free Ceramic Pickle Jar arrives damaged, we sincerely regret that we will not be able to offer a replacement or refund for it.

6. Order Cancellation & Non-Acceptance Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change, but once an order has been shipped, it is important for the customer to be available to receive it.

- Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, as orders are processed immediately and prepared in small batches to ensure freshness.

If a customer is not available to accept delivery and the maximum re-attempts by the courier partner are reached, the order will be marked as undelivered and returned to us.

- In such cases, a cancellation charge of up to 50% of the order value (excluding shipping and RTO charges) will be applied.

- Refunds for such cases will be processed once we receive the returned package.

- Replacements, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 business days.

- If an order is cancelled via OTP or rejected at the doorstep, a 100% cancellation charge will apply due to the perishable nature of our products.

- Our pickles are made in small batches and cannot be restocked once shipped; therefore, refunds or replacements cannot be offered for such orders.

- If you’d still like to receive your order, we’ll be happy to reship it for you. In this case, an additional shipping fee will apply.

7. Ensuring Fair Use of Our Policies

We aim to keep things fair for all our valued customers. To prevent misuse:

  • Repeated refund requests, false non-delivery claims, or any fraudulent activities may result in order cancellation and restriction from future purchases.
  • Refund requests for delivered orders will not be considered.
  • By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the above policies regarding shipping, refunds, damage claims, and product conditions.
